So I'm having difficulty when I get a receipt I paid in CAD$ and it gets automatically converted to USD, which is great- The issue is that the USD conversion does not match exactly with my USD credit card statement. Is there a way to manually force the USD amount to match my credit card statement?

Hi @SAOSBR , The currency conversion applies to a cash transaction only. If you are importing your credit card, the amount on your statement will override the converted cash receipt amount when the card transaction merges with the receipt.

Apologies for the confusion. If you are not importing your card into Expensify then the expenses are considered to be cash. The surcharge just helps you even out exchange discrepancy and bank fees so that your employer is reimbursing a reasonable amount. It's not designed to match the credit card because it's for cash expenses.

Feel free to come back to me if you have any further queries about this.
