I am using the free version of the app on my mobile.
For some reason several times in a month the app will auto generate a report which by the end of the month i might have 5 reports to compile.
Any ideas why this is happening ?

Sound like Scheduled Submit. This functionality adds your expenses to a report and then submits/closes them on your behalf. Very handy when used consciously!
You'll find this setting under Settings > Policies > Individual > [Policy Name] > Reports
If you want it to create the reports but not submit or close them, set the frequency to 'Manually'.
I finally got around to checking your response out and after a bit of menu trial and error i found the setting.
