Is there a way to see what expenses have been submitted by date submitted?

I am doing taxes for last year and tracking down items that weren't submitted at the time. I would like to focus on processing those expenses but I can't figure out how to sort or filter in such a way that I can see them. This would also be helpful as a way to catch any expenses that somehow didn't make it to expensify.

Hi @JKO, thanks for writing into the Community!
Fortunately, you can use the Filters on the Expenses tab (click "Show Filters") to remove any Processed or Reimbursed expenses from your view!
Here's a quick GIF showing you how you do it:
You can filter by the following:
- Date Range
- Merchant (leave blank to pull all Merchants)
- All/Billable/Reimbursable
- Types
- Submitter
- Category
- Tag
- Policy
- Cards
- Expense Status

I know how to do that. What I want, however, is to be able to sort by the date submitted, so I can verify if recently-submitted receipts have been processed.

Sorry @JKO, I misunderstood your question.
Since it's a report that gets submitted rather than an expenses, you can only filter by "Submitted" at the Reports level. You can do this by simply by clicking on the Submitted column header:
