Error: Cannot demote user on this policy because they are set up as an exporter.

CollegeVine Expensify Customer Posts: 1 Expensify Newcomer

Our company has moved our reimbursements in house rather than having our accountant handle. We have taken back control of billing and domain but I cannot eliminate access for them due to the following error:

"Cannot demote user on this policy because they are set up as an exporter."

I've looked everywhere and cannot find this setting. Any suggestions?

    Hi @CollegeVine - welcome to the Community! The setting to change your preferred exporter can be found by navigating to your Settings > Policies > Group > [Policy Name] > Connections > Configure > Export tab.

    At the top of the menu, you should see a spot for the Preferred Exporter that you can change. Make sure to save your new settings and sync the policy. After doing that you should be able to remove the policy member, but if you aren't let me know!
