FAQ: I don't think my company needs Concierge Receipt Audit, can we disable it?

If you’re the policy billing owner it’s possible that you don’t need this level of Control functionality. If so, you can always switch your plan to Collect via Settings > Policies > Group > [Policy Name] > Plan at any time. Please note, downgrading a policy can affect other features you might be enjoying so be sure to check out our feature breakdown first.

If you're not on a Control Policy, Concierge Receipt Audit won't be available, so you should already be set!
Perhaps you are referring to a different feature? Do you mind going over what you're looking to disable in a bit more detail?

I'm referring to Smart Scan feature, which my employees would like to turn off.
I am an admin of several corporate policies and in policy setting I do not see option to switch off the smart scan, while employees who are invited to the policy cannot switch off smart scan and have message that "it's forced by corporate policy settings".
My question is how Smart scan feature can be switched off if none of employees and policy Admins have this options in settings?

Thanks for responding! In regards to SmartScan, there is not a way to turn this off as it is a built in feature for Control-level policies.
However, can you provide some additional insight into why your employees do not want to use SmartScan?

Thanks for getting back to me!
I receive complaints from employees and all are like "I find it to be both very slow, and error-prone relative to manual entry"
Most of the errors are related to currency recognition.
Our company is widespread and it's a bit of a pain to face these forced features.
Is there a way people can choose if they want to use smart scan or not?
