Report - Something Chaged

We were forced to apply the new Chase bank connector a month or two ago. Since then, report auto titling has changed and the users are totally lost. It used to trigger a new report title based on the Beginning credit statement period and in the title would be the Name of the month. Now, reports are being titled with the first date of an expense that is within that statement period. This is not a welcomed change. For the folks for whom we already had issues completing reports timely, this has made things far worse. How can we address this so the Name of the Month appears in the report title?

Hi @1888 Welcome to the Expensify Community! Sounds like you were using the old Automatic Statement Reporting functionality and a field associated with it.
You will need to alter the Report Title with a new formula - there are actually a few different options, so I recommend you check out this guide. NB: This Deep Dive is about building custom exports but the formulas are the same!
You may also find this general guide to Report Titles very useful. 😀

This does not answer the concern. How do we add back the Name of the Month? Why would this functionality be removed??

@1888 Can you try replacing the current month formula with {report:startdate:MMMM}. Because we are in the process of depreciating statement reporting, using the common date formula for month should work.

"we are in the process of depreciating statement reporting". What does this mean?

@1888 that we will be getting rid of Statement Report in the near future, and encouraging users to use the Reconciliation Dashboard instead. You can read more about this change here.
