Downloading PDF's

I have a user who had Adobe Acrobat installed on their laptop and PDF's open fine. But when they try to download a PDF from Expensify, they are prompted to download Acrobat Reader to view the PDF. Is there a setting somewhere that needs to be set?

Hi @bfry24, thanks for reaching out. I tested this behavior and when I open a PDF downloaded from Expensify it opens in my browser unless I tell it to open in another location.
Can you confirm the web browser your user is currently using? I can attempt to use that browser to recreate the issue and see if I can help find a solution.
Thanks!

We tried Chrome and Edge.

Hi, the link to the guide is not working. Please repost.

@jsmithlitton Hey there! That help page was from Google Chrome rather than Expensify, as this issue is with your web browser rather than Expensify's web app.
Have you taken a look at your web browser's help documentation to see if they have an explanation for why a PDF would not display properly, and would show that error? Thanks!
