Can I PERMANENTLY delete expenses I don't use that are automatically pulled from my bank account?

I use a personal credit card for expenses. It's great that the integration can pull these charges in from my account so that I just pick the ones that I need to add to a report. But it pulls all of my personal transactions in. I delete them, but I just noticed that they remain in the system in a "deleted" state. I'd rather not have all of these personal items in expensify for my company to see. Is there a way to permanently delete them? or will they be automatically deleted after some amount of time? If not, I will probably stop the automation and go back to a more manual entry process. Bummer!

Hello @HayAutumn, this is a great question! There isn't a way to permanently delete these unreported expenses without removing the card connection, which definitely isn't the solution for you.
The good news is that your company will only be able to see the expenses you've added to a report. That means that expenses sitting in your account as Unreported or Deleted are not visible to your company.
Please note: Any Expensify account you grant Copilot access to your account, would have visibility to see the Deleted and Unreported personal expenses. You must grant this access to another account, it is not granted by default and our team will never grant it to an admin on your behalf.

Need permanently delete feature - come on, Thousands of us want it. it keeps everything streamlined.

Or, you could export your personal cc to a csv or an Excel file, remove the personal expenses, and just upload the business expenses into Expensify. Not quite as easy as automatically linking your card, but with lots more privacy.

@kak thanks for sharing! I'd encourage you to create an Idea post in our community. This post would give others a chance to weigh in and vote for the feature to be added. Trust me, if we see thousands of upvotes on an Idea, we'll absolutely be taking it under consideration.
You can create that Idea post here. Remember to vote for your own idea and share it with any colleagues or peers who would support it as well.

This is the only thing that is stopping me from using expensify more. Help response tells me that the only way to delete information is to delete your whole account! I guess they don't want more subscribers!
