@Accounting_Stok -- I wanted to let you know about this new update! You had mentioned you like the Status badges on expenses indicating what state it currently is in.

Great news is that we've just updated the mobile app to include these statuses.

On Android app, it Would be nice to have the comment field dynamically increase in size visually when one has an extended comment. Though the extra text does get saved and shows on reports, it is not shown on screen and thus tough to edit. Have not yet used new ui in web app. Might be issue there also.

Does the new app version allow us to email our trip itinerary? I had suggested that a few months back and was wondering if that made it into this version.

Hello @johnp, welcome! This functionality was not added to our most recent mobile release, but I'd encourage you to add it as a feature in our Ideas category.

Threads in our Ideas category give other Expensify customers the chance to weigh in, vote for the idea, and share why their use case would benefit from the feature being added. We even have a ultra rare badge a community member could earn if their Idea post turns into a feature we add.

Hi @Tck_gpi, nice to have a new face join the community. This is an interesting observation, thank you for sharing. I haven't run into this issue on the web, but please let us know if you do.

I'm going to get to work recreating this in my mobile test account, but if I'm unable I'll reach out to you via email so we can get some screenshots from your device. I'll be sure to keep you updated on what I learn and share it with you.

Behavior is the same in the Web app. In the edit expense form a small portion of the comment filed is visible in a scrolling box.

In the list of expenses, where in-place editing can be done, a small portion [3 abbreviated lines] of the available comment field will show.

In reports, the entire field is shown, athough visual / printing justification of that comment paragraph is a bit strange

BTW, the comment field is 256 spaces large, give or take.

The newest update (Version 8.0.0) on iOS crashes every time when I click on reports. I am using iOS 11.2.2. This is unusable until it is fixed.

Hello @BGG - oh no, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these crashes. Can you confirm if you've deleted and reinstalled the app at all?

If not, can you give that a try for us? Before deleting the app, please make sure your uploaded expenses have synced with the web.
