Hello @Kimber and @missboykin0914 — thanks for reaching out! I apologize for the continued hassle that this has caused, and please note that in regards to the reports, we did do these in order, but some reports had to be sent back to individuals to make edits to follow the submission guidelines found at Expensify.org/hunger. Volunteers are working to get additional funds as quickly as we can, as we hope to continue this well into the future.
If you have any questions about your reports specifically, please reach out to concierge@expensify.com, and our team will be glad to help in anyway that we can!

@Kimber I agree. But am very grateful that they have been able to help so many families. It's a very stressful time for everyone. My place of employment is closed till this is behind us, so I have been out of work for going on a month now. Still waiting on unemployment and stimulus and even that is taking forever. I have a rare blood disorder that I have to take medication for if I don't have it I get have to have blood transfusions and I get real I'll. I hate having to choose either pay my Bill's and keep a structured home for my family or get my meds. Of course I chose my Bill's for my family. They are always first! I just wonder how much longer till all this is over.
-
@Cortney Ofstad no apology needed! I know we are not the only family out here struggling and needs help. And I am very grateful for what yall are doing for everyone. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt something I didnt file right that was holding me back.

I had turned in my receipt a month ago and I was wanting to find out when I should receive the $50 back or if there's anything I need to do that I haven't done or if I did something wrong please get back to me if you can

Hi @Julie7374
I don't see that your report has been assigned to the expensify.org hunger policy. You'll want to be sure that you've first asked to be invited to that policy. Below, are the step by step instructions for submitting a $50 SNAP reimbursement.
- Purchase food as normal with your SNAP card
- Download Expensify on iOS or Android, for free
- Join the Expensify.org/hunger policy
- SmartScan the receipt, which will tell us how much you paid and show that it was paid for with an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card
- Submit it to volunteer@expensify.org
- Set up your bank account to receive the funds
- So long as we have funds available, we will reimburse up to $50 per family (one time), the very next day.
I also notice that you've created a group policy of your own - this is not necessary and you can cancel that policy by going to Settings > Policies > Group > Subscription settings and clicking "Cancel Subscription".
-
I have done all this it will not let me get out of close
-
@Julie7374 This likely means that you are not yet a part of the Expensify.org/hunger policy. We are waiting to accept people to the policy until we have more funds available. Please wait to submit your report until you have been added to the policy or it will be in a closed state and we won't be able to see it.

Could you check and make sure I did mine right cause it's been almost a month since I turned it in

Thanks for checking in @Aliciacook15
I've had a peek at your account and everything is looking good! The report is processing which means our team is taking a look at it.
As you can see from this thread, we have thousands of families who are looking for assistance right now and we're doing our best to get to everyone as soon as possible. Hang in there and we'll let you know once your request is complete.

Is there anyway someone can please look over my receipt I turned in March 21 ( I think that was the date) I think it is correct but then again I had something wrong in my settings and the automated person finally said something last week. Not the best at this type of stuff.
thank You

Hi @KimberlyAnn, thanks for posting.
It looks like it's been submitted to policy other than the Expensify.org/hunger policy.
When you have a moment, will you please follow the steps in this support article to move it over to the Expensify.org/hunger policy so we can review it?
Thanks!
-
Thank you kindly @MattMoore I figured there had to be an issue somewhere! I've waited so long!! Thanks!

HI CAN ANYONE AT THE EXPENCIFY TEAM LOOK OVER MY REPORT IVE SUBMITTED ON MARCH 30TH THATS ALMOST 3 WEEKS IF MORE THAT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN FOR MY HELP REQUEST CAN SOME TELL ME WHAT IF ANYTHING IS GOING TO HELP ME
-
Hi @Eddie79 the team is continuing to process these. As soon as your report is processed you'll hear back from the team. Thanks for your patience.
-
It took almost 4 weeks to get my reimbursement but I did get it. Have patience and remember this isn’t government money. This is money they have and are collecting and giving to us. They are seeking the donations to give the $50 to you. With all the people that have and are requesting the reimbursement that donation money goes faster than you can imagine. They will get to you when it’s your turn. They are in no way profiting from this and do not have to be doing this. Be patient, be grateful and be kind! Stay blessed and stay healthy everyone!
-
Alright I owe this company an apology, I have complained and griped for three weeks over not being reimbursed and I finally got an email saying the money would be sent to my bank tomorrow . Now I get it, they are just truly swamped by all the request and it’s just taking some time. My request has been processing since the 20 of March but they did come thru, I just have been stressed with everyone getting laid off in my household that I complained quite a bit over how long it’s took. I do appreciate this company doing this for me and everyone else.
-
like I read on here before if yours says processing in blue than be patient because it’s more than likely done right
-
Thanks, and like I've mentioned before, we completely understand. We're happy to see that you've received the reimbursement, and you sharing how the process worked for you will hopefully help to reassure anyone else that comes across this thread.
As always, let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks @TiffanyN and @Jenniferld40 for your kind words! We know this is a super rough time for way too many people, so we do understand that complaints etc come from a place of overwhelmed stress - we don't take it personally at all.
I'm glad we were able to help, and yes to everyone else it's still a case of waiting as patiently as you can. If you want the Expensify team to check your report looks right, please don't hesitate to email concierge@expensify.com and we can check for you. Once it's submitted it might take a month to get everything processed.
-
Just received my reimbursement, had been processing since the 21 of March. For those of you still waiting it will happen. Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing that, @Greeneyes! Appreciate the positivity here. 👍

Just checking to see what’s the status. I hope mine was submitted right. It still says processing. I been at it since March 17 or 18, 2020, finally March 23,2020 it looked right. Didn’t know I had to wait from them to accept my invitation.
-
Hey @SharonD, thanks for posting to the Community! Because of the high demand in submissions and access to funds, the reimbursement process is taking longer than expected. I apologize for the delay!
If you have specific questions about your reimbursement, please reach out to concierge@expensify.com, and the team will be happy to help!
-
I submitted a report for this on March 23rd. It says it's still processing. Is that normal?

Hi @antfaber Yes, it is normal, we are reimbursing as fast as we possibly can! Thanks for your patience!

Hello,
Do I need to edit my expenses to match $50 for my two receipts to be approved? I just listed the totals on both, but completely understand that the matching SNAP purchase is for $50. Thank you.

Hi @Lsassano . You've requested to be accepted to the Expensify.org/Hunger policy, thank you! However, we are experiencing a backlog. Your receipt/expense must be submitted again as soon as Expensify accepts you to the correct Policy, so hang tight!
@Heatherblondie Your receipt looks good, we'll notify you if we need anything else. Thank you!
