SSO/SAML and mobile app

Does anyone have experience with using SSO and the mobile app? There is no documentation that I can find that talks about how a user will authenticate to the mobile app when SSO is activated. The admin page does state that all users will be required to login via the SSO (IDP) but I don't see an option on the mobile app for SSO.
