Here it is April 6th and I can only speak from my own personal experience but mines been processing since March 20th and doesn’t look like I’m going to be reimbursed. I’ve ask for customer service to please look over mine since they were working on March 20th day a week ago and mine still never processed all I know is it’s processing in blue been processing now over two weeks. I know they have had a lot of request and it takes time but it’s like mine was skipped all together. Maybe it’s where I’ve been commenting on here asking so many questions idk but anyways just know if u ask too many questions you apparently get skipped I guess.

Hi @Jenniferld40 - I'm sorry to hear that you haven't received your reimbursement, and I can assure you that no-one is being overlooked. Our team are currently in the process of reviewing submissions, and we thank you for your patience!
-
Sumitted March 27th still processing
-
Hey there @Sheripie77! Sorry for the delay on all this. We've seen a pretty big uptick in demand, which has been wonderful, but has caused wait times to increase as we work to approve and reimburse users. The Expensify.org team is doing everything we can can to process these as quickly as possible, and we really appreciate your patience!
-
Lmfao I submitted on the 18th was approved for submission on the 20th then it was switched last week to say submitted the 21st of march and I've been processing ever since. So for those who submitted after that you're in for a long wait. Good luck y'all!
-
Hey @TiffanyN, we are doing our best to work through the backlog of submitted reports. We notify each submitter when their reports are ACH reimbursed via email and/or push notification on mobile (so that you are made immediately aware). I hope the additional context is useful. We appreciate your patience thus far!

I just wish for sure if I knew it was coming or not

Hi @Julie7374! These will be reimbursed as quickly as possible. I did notice that your report is currently on your personal policy. Please follow these steps to make the changes needed:
When your report is Closed / Category is missing
If your report is Closed or your can't find the right category to apply to the expense and looks like the image below, please scroll down to the Correction steps section and follow the steps there.
Correction steps:
Changing the report's policy and coding the expense
- Log into your Expensify account using your preferred web browser
- Head to your Reports page and click on your report,
- Click on the Undo Close button,
- Next, click on the Policy dropdown at the top right of the report and choose the Expensify.org/hunger policy.
- Now, click on your expense to open it to correct the category.
- Select the correct category - Volunteer reimbursement - and the correct Class - Expensify.org/hunger, then Save the expense.
- Lastly, click the Submit button or wait for our system to automatically submit your report later tonight.
Once your report looks like the picture below, you're report is ready.
The last thing you should check is to be sure your Personal Bank Account is connected and ready to receive the reimbursement funds.
Instructions for setting up your account can be found here.

I'm still processing and have been since March 21st. I understand it taking longer but I'm going on 3 weeks now and nothing. And all you get from here is "be patient", longer wait times" and the are going to get to it". But as you see others have gotten theirs with hardly no wait time. I'm just not understanding this at all..

Hi @Jami82
I know the wait for funds can seem like a long one. As you can see from these comments, there are thousands of families in need who are reaching out for help - we're doing our best to work through these requests and are doing so in the order in which they were received.
Hang in there, we'll do our best to get your reimbursement to you as soon as possible!
-
Hi - sorry, but just submitted a false expense report because I'm trying to find out exactly how this is done so I can explain to persons with disabilities. I would like to know if "groceries" is restricted to food, or can the funds be used to purchase toiletries, diapers, etc. Thanks!
-
Hey @Speerwalker !
As long as you can purchase such items with SNAP benefits, and you provide a receipt for the purchase showing that the items were purchased with SNAP, it can qualify for the Hunger reimbursement.
-
I just want to give y'all an update I recieved today about my refund. I did mine on the 28th. I was told today they are working on refunds from the 20th & 21st!! Please don't get upset when this company is giving you FREE $$ They're trying to help everyone. Relax! And stay safe!
-
Could you look at my report and let me know if it's ok, please?
-
Hi @Jen93638, thanks for reaching out! Can you please contact concierge@expensify.com so we can take a closer look? Thanks!
-
Has anyone actually received or did we all in desperation just connect our banking info to this app in blind faith . Still processing from March 20th. I already know be patient I’ve been told
-
As you can see from this thread, there are thousands of families in need who are reaching out for help - we're doing our best to work through these requests and are doing so in the order in which they were received. Hopefully we can help as many families as possible. We are working through these as quickly as we are able. Thanks for your patience!

Can u just tell me how to take my bank info off here and close my account? This is insanity

Jason
Thank you guys and girls for all your hard work. Im sorry for my message being rude. Stress right now has gotten the best of me. However I am aware that you guys don't even have to offer this to us.I hate that I sounded entitled. Im really not. Lol. Thanks again
-
@Jenniferld40 You can remove your bank under Settings -> Account -> Payments on our website. There you will see the option to remove the bank account you added.
If you do wish to delete your account, this can be done under the Account Details section. You'll want to scroll to the bottom.
If you don't wish to leave or remove your account, we will notify you when your report is reimbursed. However, that can take some time as we are reviewing thousands of reports.
-
Haha I felt the same way and sent an apology message! Times are difficult and confusing right now! We will get through this if we start supporting each other instead of being so anxious and stressed. It was nice to see someone else apologize for being a little righteous other than myself lol! ❤️
-
Thanks, and it's okay! We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, and we really appreciated your patience while we worked through these reimbursements. A little stress is completely understandable, and we hope that providing the reimbursement can help with that in some way.
For anyone else that sees this, please know that we're trying to approve these reimbursements as quickly as possible. If you have any specific questions regarding your report and the status of your reimbursement, reach out to us at concierge@expensify.com. Thanks again, and please stay safe!
-
I agree! I was reading through this thread and I was wow we all sound so mean and nasty. Think of how these employees are feeling being attacked by us for something out of their control. Im seriously trying to get my stress in check. I am happy to see someone else's notice and make it right. Maybe just maybe we made a difference in their day!
-
It definitely makes a difference in my day to see the love that's coming from this! Like I've mentioned, some stress is going to be par for the course in a situation like the one we're in.
As always, stay safe and we're here for you if you have any other questions.

For those wondering, it is not a 'scam'. I have been reimbursed for the full $50. Already in my bank account. Just be patient. Good things come to those who wait. Thank you to the Expensify angels for helping in a time of great need 💛
-
My report showed processing since the 21st,just opened the phone to 3 notifications that it was approved, reimbursed and should expect the $41 deposited around the 13th. I used a smaller trip in hope to save some for others. Thank you!
-
For anyone that has scrolled this feed has seen me complain and gripe and then let go and apologize and be grateful for what I already have!! These people don’t have to do this so be appreciative! I received my reimbursement today!! They aren’t lying about anything they have so many to go through and limited funds. They are literally doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. Be patient, let go and let God and it’s gonna work out for you I promise!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Expensify Team!!
-
@Linaxt @Christina1113 @TiffanyN
You're welcome! I'm happy to see that you've all been reimbursed. It's amazing to see the kind words along the way, and we hope to reimburse more as we move along.
Thanks again, and let us know if you need anything along the way!
-
Are yall still doing the reimbursement? If so is there anyway I could have someone look at mines and make sure I have done it correctly? I requested it March 24
-
@missboykin0914 I've been waiting since the 25th. I read on a different post that someone submitted theirs on the 23rd and received the money the next day. The last post I read from expensify stated they were working on submissions from the 20th and 21st. Now I see the funds have been exhausted. I don't believe they reimbursed people in the order they were received. I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I wish this would have been done fairly.
