I am a single mother of five who work in the food service. which means it could be months before i return to work. Keeping a roof over the kids head and getting caught up after i do go back to work. i know i'm not alone. I wish you all well and a full recovery. i live in Utah and we had a 5.7 Earthquake with 72 after shocks yesterday. Talk about adding more to our plates

Hi, I'm Brandon new to a new job in brand marketing (and Expensify) having just left government after 15 years and re-entering the private sector. Was beyond pleasantly surprised that such a program exists to help with expense reporting and look forward, to seeing what else it can do for me. Now, is there a training module for newbies like me?

Hi, On yesterday I registered, entered account information and scanned my Walmart receipt for the $50 reimbursement. However, when I checked later, it said my account was closed due to I opted to have something sent to only me. Now I’m more confused than ever.

Hi @Marie1966_, thank you for reaching out! I'm sorry this has been confusing!
I took a look, and your account is still open with Expensify; however, the report on which you submitted the receipt is in the Closed state. It looks like this was submitted on your personal policy (the default policy when you created your Expensify account), and it will need to be submitted on the Expensify.org/hunger policy.
You can join that policy by clicking this link. Once you've become part of that policy, then you can follow the steps outlined here to unclose and change the policy of your report.
Once you get to that point, feel free to reach out to Concierge if you have any other questions. You can do so by emailing [email protected] or send us an in-app message via Help and Feedback (click your user icon to reveal this when using the web app).

Hello Expensify community. I am the Office Manager of a smaller high tech company consisting of 32 of us. I work in Kitchener, Ontario where we are only able to claim 50% HST on Meals and Entertainment. The problem is at 100% or the amount on the invoice may be 13% which is correct and what we get charged. But, when you click on the *50% Meals and Entertainment* the amount changes to another amount, and not 50%! Can someone please explain this to me as I have to do this monthly for all employees before they go to our CFO for final approval, some reports can have 60 or more expenses, you can see where I am going with this, as having to change every single line item, is quite cumbersome and doesn't make sense why it can't just half the amount. Hi! My name is Rachel I am my Companies Controller as well as the person responsible for our Expensify Implementation. We started with Expensify in Dec of 2019 and use it with QuickBooks Enterprise hosted on RightNetworks.
We have had a problem for the past month with updating our 2 policies on expensify but have been able to import reports into our QuickBooks.
I have been in touch with concierge through email and chat online and today the answer I was given to the "Oops --Failed..." message was that the amount of data from items and customers is too large to sync.
Has anyone else had issues with updating their Expensify Policies from QuickBooks Enterprise (a desk top version not online)?
Any help is appreciated.

I wanted to share a couple of resources and suggestions to help with your inquiry.
The first is the Community itself. As you can see from this thread, the Community is filled with Expensify users just like yourself. Many of our users integrate with QuickBooks Desktop. Doing a quick search in the Community search bar might pull up some useful information to your specific case. Check out this link here.
Another suggestion is to keep speaking to Concierge. I'm not quite sure your exact issue; it could be a really long vendor list or it could something else. Either way, Concierge will be able to suggest a solution tailored to your specific use case.
Lastly, you can also create a separate post looking for other examples from live Expensify users in the Community. They might be able to give some guidance on what they've done to solve this issue.
